Kiddinx MoodBlocks

To use Kids MoodBlocks, you will need at least 1 Sonos speaker and a subscription to Spotify Premium or Apple Music.

You can use the blocks by scanning them with your phone, or alternatively use them with MoodPlay.

You have two options to use these blocks.

Option 1: Smartphone

Tap them with any iPhone (Xs or newer) or NFC capable Android phone to start playing one of the episodes. The music will stream directly from your Spotify Premium or Apple Music account that is set up inside the Sonos app. Once you tap a block, the music will automatically start playing and the MoodBlocks app will open. From here, you can skip tracks, change the volume, or add additional Sonos speakers where the audiobook should play. To stop the music, you can simply remove the block from MoodPlay.

Option 2: MoodPlay

Your second option is MoodPlay, which can be used by kids starting at the age of around 2. Simply place one of the blocks on MoodPlay to start listening to music on your Sonos system. The music will stream directly from your Spotify Premium or Apple Music account that is set up inside the Sonos app. That's it. You can use the controls on MoodPlay to skip a track, adjust the volume, or trigger group shortcuts to quickly change on which speakers the audiobook should play.

Yes! If you remove a block from MoodPlay, we will save your progress. The next time you use the same block, we will resume from where you left off. If you want the album to start from the beginning, simply press and hold the volume knob for 2 seconds until you hear the album restarting.

Please note that this feature does not work when using a MoodBlock with your phone, as we cannot continuously track the state of your Sonos system from the app. Also, make sure that you have not turned off the option in the settings to stop music when a block is removed.

Artist Blocks, like these kids' blocks, come pre-configured with artwork and content that cannot be changed. If you would like to create your own playlists or albums, please consider our Creative Blocks. These blocks allow you to store your favorite playlists or albums from Spotify Premium or Apple Music on a MoodBlock.
